Idex, a mission-driven company
In summer 2025, Idex became a mission-driven company. A milestone in its development that reflects the Group's ambition to make a positive impact on the planet and on society as a whole.
Our corporate purpose: Accelerate the energy transition by promoting local, low-carbon energies
Our goals:
-
Act for the climate through solutions that accelerate the energy transition
-
Act for sustainable development at local level
-
Act for a safe, inclusive and stimulating work environment

What is a mission-driven company?
In France, the PACTE Act of 22 May 2019 on business growth and transformation brought into French law the concept of a mission-driven company.
A mission-driven company publicly states its corporate purpose, along with the social and environmental goals it is pursuing in order to make a positive impact on the planet and on society. This information is included in the company's articles of association.
Progress towards these goals is assessed by a mission committee, which is separate from the company's corporate entities. Every year, the mission committee drafts a mission report, which is made public.
Every two years, the company's performance is audited by an independent third-party organisation (ITO).

By opting to become a mission-driven company, and setting out our environmental, social and societal goals in our articles of association (the legal DNA of Idex), we have made a long-term committed to this course of action. We will also be subject to external scrutiny by an independent mission committee, which will assess our progress and provide us with the benefit of its expertise and advice.

Our corporate purpose
The Idex Group set out its mission in 2020 as part of the corporate project “Idex 2030”.
Accelerate the energy transition by promoting local, low-carbon solutions
By making this mission its corporate purpose, as stated in its articles of association, the Idex Group is reaffirming its long-term commitment to the plan set out in 2020, while seeking to involve both internal and external stakeholders in the pursuit of its environmental and social goals, primarily by taking action on climate change and supporting customers on their low-carbon pathway.

Idex Group mission committee
The Idex Group mission committee is made up of eight members, representative of Group stakeholders and/or experts in one or more of its areas of commitment.
Its role is to:
- Assess the implementation of the commitments made by Idex
- Support Idex in its deliberations and strategic choices in line with its status as a mission-driven company.
